Smoke and Fire Damage Restoration

- Do not go back into your home or business if the fire is still burning; you must wait until your fire department has verified that the fire is completely out and entrance to the home or business is safe.
- Soot and burned surfaces are carcinogenic, be sure to always wear rubber gloves and respirators if you wish to remove fire or smoke damaged items from your home or business before emergency personnel arrive.
- In the event that you have lost power for an extended period of time for any type of damage, empty your refrigerator and freezer and keep the doors open. If items have to be thrown away, which should be done if there was a fire, especially with heavy smoke, and make an inventory list of each item. Be sure to include, name brands, sizes, and quantity.
