An insurance agent cannot properly write an HO6 without knowing what the Governing Documents say. Those documents determine insurable interest and articulate gaps in coverage that can be addressed in the HO6 policy. Assessments are a big issue right now. Understanding what the association is going to assess for and how much they are going to assess is important. If you ever write HO6 policies on condo or townhome owners, this course is a must.
